Application Review

Please be aware that applying to SALT is not strictly a first-come, first-served process; however, because applications are reviewed in the order in which they're received, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible if you are interested in enrolling.  Our priority enrollment window closes May 24, 2025 to allow administrators enough time to finalize teaching assignments, orient new families, and solidify class sizes before the summer, as many teachers like to use this time to prep their classes for the upcoming school year.  Applications are reviewed by Administrators as they are submitted, along with the consideration of many other additional factors that affect the overall operation of the co-op, such as: ages/grades and number of students, potential class sizes and nursery burden, teaching positions that need to be filled or particular skill sets of interest, overall experience and history with homeschooling, etc.  For this reason, we do not charge an application fee.  Willingness and interest in teaching is also a high priority component in our application and enrollment determinations.  Admission and acceptance decisions to fill any available openings will be made thoughtfully and prayerfully by SALT Administrators, with the intention of best benefiting and facilitating the function of the co-op as a whole, while serving as many families as possible.  

Admission and acceptance offers will be distributed on a rolling basis to fill available openings, with an opportunity for those families to secure their place in SALT for the 2025-2026 school year with a $150 non-refundable deposit and submission of required documents within given deadlines.  All payments are due within ONE WEEK of receiving electronic invoice.

Waiting List

Families placed on the waiting list will be offered spaces accordingly, should openings arise before September.  Please note that new families are added only at the beginning of the school year to avoid confusion and the necessity to review material previously taught.
